What are the Deer Hunting Seasons?
Deer - Archery: Oct 3-Nov 20
Deer - Firearm: Oct 24-Nov 20

What can I harvest?
If you are a non-resident, bucks only.  All licensed hunters (residents and nonresidents) may hunt antlered deer (deer with visible antlers) during the deer season in zones open to hunting.  Non-residents are not eligible to hunt antlerless deer (does and fawns).

Deer Bag Limit: 1 deer per year
Spruce Grouse, Ruffed Grouse: 6 daily; 12 in possession

What are the age restrictions on non-resident licenses?
Deer: 16 and older.

Partridge only: 12 and older.  Non-residents 12-15 years of age must show proof of having taken a Hunter Education course and be accompanied by an adult. (License $82.00)

What is an Absolute Outfitters Deer Hunt like?
On the day you arrive, a light lunch of sandwiches and sweets are waiting for you.  Each day, breakfast is served early then it's off to to the woods with your guide.  It's back to the camp for lunch and then out right after for an afternoon of hunting.  Another delicious homecooked meal is served at the camp at suppertime.

What's a New Brunswick Outdoors Card?
The outdoors card is now required for resident and non-resident hunters in New Brunswick.  If you are booking a hunt with us, please register for an outdoors card as soon as possible and keep the info in a safe place for future use.  Please follow this link to register for your Outdoors Card: Here

Yes!

What are your stands like?
Generally metal tree stands but we also provide ground blinds upon request.

What should I bring on my New Brunswick hunting trip?
Choice of firearm and ammunition, rain gear, sunglasses, hunting gear, mix of warm and light clothing that you can layer.  If hunting in the fall, you'll need hunters orange.  We recommend Thermocell mosquito repellant devices.

Please Visit the RCMP Firearm Users Visiting Canada Page HERE.  There you'll find info and forms that you can fill out before you reach the border to save time.  It instructs not to sign them beforehand though since a customs officer must witness the signature.  The cost is listed at $25.
